LEWIS CRANSTON

Glasgow-based filmmaker with a particular interest in building and exploring spaces and the connection between characters and space. In particular, the theme of landscape, both natural and urban, is familiar theme in all Lewis’ work to date. A recent graduate of Screen Academy Scotland's BA Film Programme

    Set to premiere in 2024. A man attempts to initiate the sale of his ancestral land in the Scottish Borders but in the process finds himself confronted by his own past and the mystical qualities of the landscape

    The Watergaw (2024) - writer/director/producer/sound designer. My graduate film at Screen Academy Scotland/Edinburgh Napier University. 16 minute folk horror starring Colin McCredie, Strath Martin and David R Montgomery. Due to have its world premiere at Edinburgh International Film Festival in August 2024
